It is administered subcutaneously once daily, preferably at the same time each day, to maintain consistent plasma insulin concentrations and reduce the risk of hypoglycemia. Glaritus Dispopen 2 is suitable for use in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, either as monotherapy or in combination with short-acting insulin or oral antidiabetic agents. The formulation is supplied in a prefilled disposable pen device, allowing accurate dosing and ease of administration.
Dose adjustments should be individualized based on patient response, blood glucose monitoring, and clinical judgment. Common adverse effects include hypoglycemia, injection site reactions, and weight gain. Patients should be educated on proper injection techniques, storage conditions, and recognition and management of hypoglycemia. Glaritus Dispopen 2 should be used cautiously in patients with renal or hepatic impairment and during pregnancy or lactation under medical supervision.
