Gesic-Ell SP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac (100mg), Paracetamol (325mg), and Serratiopeptidase (15mg). Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol provides effective analgesic and antipyretic action through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, complementing the anti-inflammatory properties of Aceclofenac. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of edema and tissue inflammation. This synergistic combination is indicated for the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, postoperative pain, and soft tissue injuries.
