Gatifax Eye Drop

This ophthalmic solution is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens, including Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Gatifax Eye Drop is administered topically, ensuring high local concentrations at the site of infection with minimal systemic absorption, reducing the risk of systemic side effects.

It is typically prescribed as one to two drops instilled into the affected eye(s) every two to four hours initially, with dosage frequency adjusted based on clinical response. Patients should be advised to avoid contamination of the dropper tip and to complete the full course of therapy to prevent bacterial resistance. Common adverse effects may include transient ocular irritation, burning, or discomfort upon instillation.

Use is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to gatifloxacin or other quinolones. Gatifax Eye Drop should be used under medical supervision with appropriate diagnosis and monitoring.
