How It Works
Paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to reduced synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for pain and fever.

Esgipyrin 50mg/325mg Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Diclofenac 50mg and Paracetamol 325mg. Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, provides analgesic and antipyretic effects through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, complementing the peripheral action of Diclofenac.

This combination is indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, dental pain, postoperative pain, and other inflammatory conditions. Esgipyrin offers rapid and sustained relief by targeting multiple pain pathways while minimizing the dose-related adverse effects associated with higher doses of either agent alone.
It should be used with caution in patients with hepatic, renal, or cardiovascular impairment and is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or paracetamol. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, dizziness, and allergic reactions. Patients are advised to adhere strictly to prescribed dosages and consult healthcare providers before use, especially when concomitant medications or pre-existing conditions are present.

How to use Esgipyrin Tablet Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Esgipyrin 50mg/325mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
