Eroxia 90 Tablet contains Etoricoxib 90 mg, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor used primarily for the management of pain and inflammation associated with various musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions. Etoricoxib exerts its therapeutic effect by selectively inhibiting the COX-2 enzyme, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation, while sparing COX-1, which helps minimize gastrointestinal side effects commonly seen with non-selective NSAIDs.

Eroxia 90 is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gouty arthritis. It is also effective in managing chronic musculoskeletal pain and postoperative dental pain. The recommended dosage and duration of therapy should be individualized based on the patient’s clinical condition and response to treatment, with caution advised in patients with cardiovascular risk factors, renal or hepatic impairment.
Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness, and hypertension. Eroxia 90 should be used under medical supervision, particularly in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal ulcers, or bleeding disorders.
