Aceclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation and pain. The sustained-release mechanism ensures prolonged therapeutic plasma concentrations, enhancing patient compliance by reducing dosing frequency.
Eprytor-A is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of conditions such as cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis, myofascial pain syndrome, and other musculoskeletal disorders involving painful muscle spasm. It should be administered under medical supervision, with caution advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, renal or hepatic impairment, and hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or Eperisone.
Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, and allergic reactions. Eprytor-A Tablet SR offers a synergistic approach to pain relief and muscle relaxation, optimizing functional recovery in affected patients.
