How It Works

Eprenac 150mg/200mg Tablet is a combination medication containing Eperisone hydrochloride 150mg and Aceclofenac 200mg, indicated for the management of musculoskeletal conditions characterized by muscle spasm and inflammation. Eperisone acts as a centrally acting muscle relaxant, reducing muscle tone by inhibiting spinal reflexes, thereby alleviating muscle stiffness and improving mobility.

Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, leading to decreased prostaglandin synthesis. This synergistic combination effectively relieves pain, inflammation, and muscle spasm associated with conditions such as cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis, myofascial pain syndrome, and other soft tissue disorders.
Eprenac is typically administered orally, with dosage and duration tailored to the severity of symptoms and patient response. Caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, renal or hepatic impairment, and cardiovascular disease. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, and allergic reactions. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to either component.
Eprenac should be used under medical supervision, with periodic monitoring to ensure therapeutic efficacy and minimize potential adverse effects.
