How It Works
Diclofenac inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, which mediate pain and inflammation.
Serratiopeptidase acts as a proteolytic enzyme, breaking down fibrin and other proteins involved in inflammation, thereby reducing pain and swelling.
Paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to reduced synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for pain and fever.

Enzolyse-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Diclofenac 50mg, Paracetamol 325mg, and Serratiopeptidase 15mg. Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of the prostaglandin pathways in the central nervous system.

Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of edema and inflammation, enhancing tissue healing and reducing pain. The synergistic action of these components makes Enzolyse-SP effective in managing acute and chronic pain conditions such as musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative pain, dental pain, and inflammatory states.
It is particularly useful in conditions requiring both analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects with an added benefit of enzymatic anti-inflammatory action. The tablet should be administered as prescribed by a healthcare professional, considering contraindications such as hypersensitivity to NSAIDs, peptic ulcer disease, or hepatic impairment.
