Bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapple stems, exhibits significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties by modulating inflammatory mediators and enhancing fibrinolytic activity. Trypsin, a serine protease enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of proteins and promotes the resolution of inflammation and edema through proteolytic degradation of inflammatory exudates. Rutoside, a bioflavonoid, contributes to vascular health by strengthening capillary walls, reducing capillary permeability, and exhibiting antioxidant effects that protect endothelial cells from oxidative stress. The synergistic action of these active ingredients makes Enzocalm-BR effective in managing conditions characterized by inflammation, edema, and microcirculatory disturbances, such as post-traumatic swelling, postoperative inflammation, and chronic venous insufficiency.
