Cetrimide, a quaternary ammonium compound, acts as a potent antiseptic and surfactant, facilitating the removal of dirt and microorganisms from the skin surface while providing bactericidal activity. Ketoconazole, an imidazole antifungal agent, inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, thereby exerting broad-spectrum antifungal effects against dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds. ZyKT Soap is indicated for the treatment of superficial mycoses such as tinea versicolor, pityriasis versicolor, and seborrheic dermatitis, as well as for adjunctive use in bacterial skin infections to reduce microbial load. The soap is suitable for daily use on affected areas, promoting skin hygiene and reducing symptoms such as itching, scaling, and inflammation. It is recommended to apply the soap by lathering on wet skin, leaving the foam in contact for 2-3 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
