Zoride Capsule SR is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Levosulpiride 75 mg and Rabeprazole 20 mg, designed for the management of gastrointestinal disorders. Levosulpiride, a selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, exhibits prokinetic and antiemetic properties by enhancing gastric motility and accelerating gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, and dyspepsia.

Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, providing effective acid control and promoting mucosal healing. The sustained-release formulation ensures prolonged therapeutic plasma concentrations, optimizing symptom relief and improving patient compliance. Zoride Capsule SR is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), functional dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease, and other acid-related gastrointestinal conditions where impaired motility and acid hypersecretion coexist.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levosulpiride, rabeprazole, or any component of the formulation. Caution is advised in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Common adverse effects may include headache, dizziness, dry mouth, and mild gastrointestinal disturbances. Use of Zoride Capsule SR should be under medical supervision, with dosage adjustments based on clinical response and tolerability.
