Zaptra LS should be administered under strict medical supervision due to the risk of dependence associated with clonazepam and potential side effects such as sedation, dizziness, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Dosage must be individualized based on clinical response and tolerability, with gradual tapering recommended to minimize withdrawal symptoms.
Caution is advised in patients with a history of substance abuse, respiratory insufficiency, or hepatic impairment. Concomitant use with other central nervous system depressants should be avoided.
