Zamont-LC Tablet is a combination medication containing Levocetirizine 5 mg and Montelukast 10 mg, indicated for the management of allergic rhinitis and chronic asthma. Levocetirizine, a third-generation non-sedative antihistamine, selectively inhibits peripheral H1 receptors, thereby alleviating symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, and itching associated with allergic conditions.

Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, blocks cysteinyl leukotriene receptors (CysLT1), reducing bronchoconstriction, inflammation, and mucus production in the airways. The synergistic action of these agents provides comprehensive relief from allergic symptoms and improves respiratory function in patients with asthma and allergic rhinitis. Zamont-LC is typically administered once daily, with or without food, and dosage adjustments should be based on clinical response and physician discretion.
