This medication is indicated for use in combination with prednisone or prednisolone to mitigate mineralocorticoid excess-related side effects such as hypertension, hypokalemia, and fluid retention.

Ytibira 500 should be administered orally on an empty stomach, as food intake can significantly increase Abiraterone plasma concentrations, potentially leading to enhanced toxicity. Patients receiving Ytibira require regular monitoring of liver function tests, blood pressure, serum potassium, and signs of adrenal insufficiency. Common adverse effects include fatigue, joint swelling, edema, and elevated liver enzymes.
