This extended-release formulation allows for once-daily dosing, improving patient compliance and maintaining steady plasma concentrations. Xval-OD 500 is effective in managing generalized and partial seizures, reducing the frequency and severity of manic episodes in bipolar disorder, and preventing migraine attacks.
