Xtranorm Capsule

Xtranorm Capsule is indicated for the management of acute diarrhea, including antibiotic-associated diarrhea and traveler’s diarrhea, as well as for the adjunctive treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The capsule formulation ensures targeted delivery of the active yeast to the intestines, where it can exert its beneficial effects.

Xtranorm is generally well tolerated, with a low incidence of adverse effects; however, caution is advised in immunocompromised patients due to the rare risk of fungemia. It is recommended to be taken as directed by a healthcare professional, typically one to two capsules daily, depending on the clinical condition. Xtranorm should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to maintain its efficacy.
