Xtramet Cream

Xtramet Cream is primarily used in conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and allergic reactions of the skin. The cream formulation facilitates effective penetration of the active ingredient into the affected area, providing rapid symptomatic relief. It is recommended for topical application once daily, with the quantity and duration of treatment tailored to the severity and location of the lesion, typically not exceeding two weeks without medical supervision.

Prolonged use or application over large surface areas may increase the risk of systemic absorption and potential corticosteroid-related adverse effects, including skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis suppression. Xtramet Cream should be used cautiously in pediatric patients and avoided on the face, groin, or under occlusive dressings unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Patients should be advised to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Discontinuation should be gradual to prevent rebound symptoms.
