Ambroxol serves as a mucolytic agent, enhancing the clearance of mucus by breaking down its structure, reducing viscosity, and promoting expectoration. This synergistic action makes XPect-PD Syrup effective in treating obstructive airway diseases including asthma, chronic bronchitis, and other respiratory tract infections where mucus retention and bronchoconstriction are present.
