Xenodac Cream contains Fusidic Acid 2% w/w, a topical antibiotic effective against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive bacteria, particularly Staphylococcus aureus. It is indicated for the treatment of localized skin infections such as impetigo, infected eczema, folliculitis, and minor wounds or abrasions that have become infected. Fusidic Acid acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing bacterial growth and proliferation.

Xenodac Cream is intended for external use only and should be applied in a thin layer to the affected area two to three times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. The duration of treatment typically ranges from 5 to 10 days, depending on the severity and response to therapy. It is important to complete the full course of treatment to prevent the development of resistant bacterial strains.
Xenodac Cream is generally well tolerated; however, mild local reactions such as burning, itching, or erythema may occur. It should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to Fusidic Acid or any excipients in the formulation. Use with caution in large areas or broken skin to avoid systemic absorption. Consult a healthcare provider if symptoms persist or worsen.
