Clopidogrel, a P2Y12 receptor antagonist, further inhibits platelet activation and aggregation, providing a dual antiplatelet effect essential in reducing the risk of thrombotic events such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Rosuvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively lowers low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides while modestly increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), contributing to the prevention of atherosclerosis progression.
