Winolap Eye Drop contains Olopatadine 0.1% w/v, a selective histamine H1 receptor antagonist with potent anti-allergic properties, indicated for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis. Olopatadine acts by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators from mast cells, thereby reducing symptoms such as itching, redness, and swelling of the conjunctiva. This ophthalmic solution provides rapid relief from ocular itching and other allergic manifestations associated with seasonal allergic conjunctivitis and vernal keratoconjunctivitis.

The formulation is designed for topical ocular administration, ensuring targeted action with minimal systemic absorption. Winolap Eye Drop is generally well tolerated; however, patients may occasionally experience mild side effects such as transient burning or stinging upon instillation, dry eyes, or headache. It is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Olopatadine or any other component of the formulation.
Caution is advised in patients wearing contact lenses, who should remove lenses prior to application and wait at least 10 minutes before reinsertion. Use during pregnancy and lactation should be under medical supervision. Winolap Eye Drop should be stored at room temperature, protected from light, and kept out of reach of children. Proper adherence to dosing instructions is essential to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse effects.
