Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, acts by stabilizing neuronal membranes and inhibiting the ionic fluxes required for the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses, resulting in rapid onset of localized numbness and analgesia. Orufit Gel is indicated for symptomatic treatment of soft tissue injuries such as sprains, strains, bruises, and minor joint or muscle pain. The gel formulation allows for easy application and targeted delivery, minimizing systemic absorption and associated side effects.
It is generally well tolerated, though local skin reactions such as irritation or hypersensitivity may occur in some patients. Orufit Gel should be applied to intact skin only and avoided on open wounds or mucous membranes. Use is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to salicylates, lidocaine, or any excipients. Consult a healthcare professional before use in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
