Orex Cream is a topical formulation containing Choline Salicylate 8.7% w/w and Tannic Acid 10% w/w, designed for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation associated with minor musculoskeletal injuries, including strains, sprains, and bruises. Choline Salicylate, a salicylate derivative, exerts analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis at the site of application.

Tannic Acid, a polyphenolic compound, provides astringent and antiseptic properties, promoting tissue contraction and reducing local irritation and exudation. The combination of these active ingredients facilitates rapid alleviation of pain and inflammation while supporting the healing process. Orex Cream is intended for external use only and should be applied gently to the affected area two to three times daily, avoiding contact with mucous membranes and broken skin.
It is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to salicylates or tannins and should be used with caution in patients with aspirin allergy. Adverse effects are uncommon but may include local skin irritation or allergic reactions. Consultation with a healthcare professional is recommended prior to use, especially in pregnant or breastfeeding women and in children.
