Oraflora Oral Gel contains Choline Salicylate 9% w/v as its active ingredient, formulated for the symptomatic relief of oral pain and inflammation. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent that provides analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis at the site of application. Oraflora Oral Gel is indicated for the treatment of oral mucosal irritations, including minor mouth ulcers, denture-induced sores, gingivitis, and other inflammatory conditions of the oral cavity.

The gel formulation ensures localized action, minimizing systemic absorption and reducing the risk of systemic side effects. It is intended for topical use only and should be applied directly to the affected area using a clean finger or applicator, typically two to three times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Patients are advised to avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after application to maximize efficacy.
Oraflora Oral Gel is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to salicylates or any other components of the formulation. Caution is advised in patients with bleeding disorders or those on anticoagulant therapy. Adverse effects are uncommon but may include local irritation or allergic reactions.
