Pregabalin acts by binding to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system, thereby modulating neurotransmitter release and reducing neuronal excitability. Nvlax 75 SR is formulated as a sustained-release tablet to provide a consistent plasma concentration, enhancing patient compliance and therapeutic efficacy. It is indicated for the treatment of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, and spinal cord injury, as well as adjunctive therapy for partial seizures in adults. Additionally, it is utilized in the management of generalized anxiety disorder.
