Nozyclear M Nasal Spray contains Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.025% w/v, a topical nasal decongestant indicated for the relief of nasal congestion associated with common colds, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. Xylometazoline acts as a selective alpha-adrenergic receptor agonist, causing vasoconstriction of the nasal mucosal blood vessels, thereby reducing swelling and facilitating improved nasal airflow. This formulation is intended for short-term use in adults and children over the age of 6 years. The spray provides rapid onset of action, typically within minutes, and its effects may last up to 10-12 hours. Nozyclear M Nasal Spray should be administered as directed, usually one or two sprays in each nostril every 8 to 10 hours, not exceeding three doses in 24 hours. Prolonged or excessive use beyond 7 consecutive days is not recommended due to the risk of rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa) and potential mucosal damage. Patients with hypertension, cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism, or diabetes should use this product with caution and consult a healthcare professional prior to use.
