Nizonide-O Tablet is a combined antibacterial and antiprotozoal medication. Each tablet contains Nitazoxanide 500mg, an antiprotozoal agent effective against Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium parvum, and Ofloxacin 200mg, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic indicated for treating various bacterial infections. Nitazoxanide is metabolized in the liver and excreted in the urine, while Ofloxacin is excreted primarily unchanged in urine.
