Nexito 10 Tablet contains Escitalopram Oxalate, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used in the management of major depressive disorders and generalized anxiety disorders. Each tablet contains 10mg of Escitalopram. Nexito should be taken orally, once daily, with or without food. The dosage may be adjusted based on the patient's response and tolerance. It may take several weeks for the full therapeutic effect to be noticed. Common side effects include nausea, insomnia, and sexual dysfunction. Severe side effects include serotonin syndrome and suicidal thoughts. Patients should be monitored closely for worsening symptoms, especially during the initial stages of treatment. Consult a healthcare provider before starting treatment, especially if pregnant, breastfeeding, or on other medications. Do not discontinue use without consulting a doctor, as sudden discontinuation may cause withdrawal symptoms. Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
