This combination provides relief for nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, and sneezing associated with allergic and non-allergic rhinitis. Xylometazoline, a sympathomimetic decongestant, reduces vasodilation in the nasal mucosa, thereby decreasing congestion. Ipratropium, an anticholinergic, inhibits the action of acetylcholine, reducing mucus secretion and inflammation.
