Myket Cream, containing the active ingredient Ketoconazole (1% w/w), is a topical antifungal formulation indicated for the treatment of fungal infections such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, and tinea versicolor in immunocompetent adults and pediatric patients aged 12 years and above, weighing at least 40 kg. It is applied topically twice daily for two weeks or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Myket Cream should be avoided on broken or irritated skin. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should only be considered if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk. Common adverse reactions include skin irritation, dryness, and burning. As with all medications, potential drug interactions exist, and patients should inform their healthcare provider of all medications being taken.
