The recommended dose is 2.5 mL (10 mL/5 mL or 2.5 mL/5 mL) every 12 hours, not to exceed 5 mL in a 24-hour period. The syrup should be administered orally, using the provided measuring device, and should not be mixed with any other medications or liquids.
