Levocetirizine, an antihistamine, relieves symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and hives, while montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, helps alleviate asthma symptoms like wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath. Montriz tablets work synergistically to provide rapid and sustained relief from allergic symptoms, including pruritus, rhinitis, and conjunctivitis. The tablets are available in a convenient once-daily dosing schedule, with a starting dose of one tablet per day for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older. The recommended dose is one tablet per day, taken orally with or without food. Montriz tablets are contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the product, and patients with severe hepatic impairment should be carefully monitored.
