Montosil-L Tablet is a fixed-dose combination product containing Levocetirizine 5mg and Montelukast 10mg, designed to provide comprehensive relief from the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, asthma, and other allergic conditions. The Levocetirizine component is an antihistamine that effectively blocks the action of histamine, a chemical mediator released during allergic reactions, thereby providing relief from symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and itchy skin. The Montelukast component is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that inhibits the action of leukotrienes, potent chemical mediators of inflammation, thereby providing relief from bronchospasm, inflammation, and increased mucus production. Together, the combination provides rapid and sustained relief from symptoms, with a rapid onset of action and a duration of action that can last for up to 24 hours. Montosil-L Tablet is indicated for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, and for the prophylaxis and treatment of asthma in patients with allergic rhinitis.

How to use Montosil-L Tablet Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Montosil-L Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
