Montlevo-D Tablet is a combination medication containing Levocetirizine (5mg) and Montelukast (10mg). It is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and/or asthma. Levocetirizine, an H1 receptor antagonist, provides rapid and sustained relief from allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and congestion. Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, blocks the action of leukotrienes, potent mediators of inflammation, thereby reducing airway constriction, mucus production, and bronchospasm. The combination of these two agents provides comprehensive relief from the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and asthma, including nasal congestion, wheezing, and coughing. Montlevo-D Tablet is suitable for patients who require long-term treatment for allergic rhinitis and/or asthma, and is particularly useful for those who experience symptoms throughout the year. It is available in tablet form for oral administration, with the recommended dosage being one tablet once daily.
