It is indicated for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis, and chronic idiopathic urticaria. Levocetirizine is a potent histamine H1-receptor antagonist, which helps to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and congestion. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist, which inhibits the production of leukotriene, a mediator of inflammation, thereby reducing symptoms such as cough, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
