Levocetirizine is a histamine H1-receptor antagonist, while montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. The combination of these two active ingredients provides a synergistic effect in alleviating symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, sneezing, and itchy nose and eyes.
