Montesig Fx 10mg/120mg Tablet is a combined medication containing Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, and Fexofenadine, a histamine-1 receptor antagonist. It is indicated for the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria (CIU) in adults and adolescents 12 years and older, as well as for the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, and red, itchy, and watery eyes. Montesig Fx works by blocking the action of leukotrienes and histamine, which are chemical mediators involved in the allergic response. The combination of Montelukast and Fexofenadine provides a broad-spectrum anti-allergic effect, reducing the symptoms of allergic reactions and improving quality of life. The tablet is taken once daily and should be taken with or without food. The most common side effects include headache, sinusitis, and nausea. Montesig Fx 10mg/120mg Tablet is not suitable for use in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any component of the medication.
