Montelor 5mg/10mg Tablet is a fixed-dose combination product containing desloratadine 5mg and montelukast 10mg. This once-daily tablet is indicated for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children aged 6 months and above. Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, inhibits the cysteinyl leukotriene-mediated allergic response, while desloratadine, a non-sedating antihistamine, effectively blocks histamine-induced responses.
