Montark-L Tablet is a combination product containing levocetirizine (5mg) and montelukast (10mg) indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and asthma. This fixed-dose combination tablet is designed to provide concurrent relief from both the histamine-mediated symptoms of rhinitis and the leukotriene-mediated symptoms of asthma. Levocetirizine, an antihistamine, effectively addresses nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and itchy eyes, while montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, targets the bronchoconstriction and airway hyperresponsiveness characteristic of asthma.
