Montaris-BL Tablet is a combination medication indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis, acute urticaria, and mild to moderate allergic reactions. Each tablet contains 20mg of Bilastine, a second-generation antihistamine, and 10mg of Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Bilastine exhibits rapid and potent antihistaminic activity, effectively relieving symptoms such as itching, sneezing, runny nose, and congestion. Montelukast, meanwhile, inhibits the production of leukotrienes, which are potent mediators of allergic inflammation, thereby reducing the severity of allergic reactions. The combination of these two agents provides a comprehensive approach to managing allergic disorders, offering rapid and sustained relief from symptoms.
