Monoplus F 10mg/120mg Tablet is a combination medication containing montelukast 10mg and fexofenadine 120mg. It is indicated for the treatment of chronic asthma and seasonal allergic rhinitis. Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, inhibits the cysteinyl leukotriene-mediated bronchoconstriction and smooth muscle contraction, thereby reducing airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness.

Fexofenadine, a nonsedating antihistamine, blocks the histamine H1 receptor, thereby decreasing the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and congestion. The combination of montelukast and fexofenadine in Monoplus F provides a synergistic effect in reducing the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis. It is available in a once-daily oral tablet formulation, making it a convenient treatment option for patients requiring long-term management of their respiratory and allergic disorders.
