Monleri Tablet is a fixed-dose combination medication containing levocetirizine 5mg and montelukast 10mg, indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, and asthma. Levocetirizine, an antihistamine, relieves symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and hives by blocking the action of histamine on its receptors. Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, inhibits the effects of leukotrienes, potent mediators of inflammation and bronchoconstriction, thereby reducing bronchospasm, airway constriction, and mucus production. The combination therapy provides rapid and sustained relief from nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and itchy and watery eyes, while also improving lung function and reducing the risk of exacerbations in patients with asthma. Monleri Tablet is available in a once-daily oral dosage form, offering a convenient and effective treatment option for patients with multiple allergic symptoms.
