Momocort Cream is a topical medicament indicated for the treatment of melasma, acne, and rosacea. This triple-combination cream contains hydroquinone 2% w/w, an effective skin lightener for hyperpigmentation, mometasone 0.1% w/w, a potent anti-inflammatory for redness and itching, and tretinoin 0.025% w/w, a retinoid for acne and comedone control. The cream is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to treating a range of skin concerns. Hydroquinone helps to reduce melanin production and lighten skin hyperpigmentation, while mometasone soothes and calms the skin, reducing redness and itching. Tretinoin, a derivative of vitamin A, helps to unclog pores, reduce acne and comedone formation, and improve skin texture. Momocort Cream is applied topically once or twice daily, depending on the individual's response, and is recommended for adult patients with a skin type that is normal, dry, oily, or combination.
