Medical applications
Molly L 5mg/10mg Tablet is a combination medication containing levocetirizine and montelukast, indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, as well as chronic idiopathic urticaria. Levocetirizine, an antihistamine, effectively treats symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy, watery eyes, while montelukast, a leukotriene modifier, helps to prevent the release of chemical mediators that cause inflammation and constriction of airways. The combination of these two agents provides rapid and sustained relief from allergic rhinitis symptoms, including nasal congestion, postnasal drip, and sinus pressure. Additionally, Molly L Tablet has been shown to reduce the frequency and severity of urticaria symptoms. The recommended dose is one tablet once daily, with or without food. Molly L Tablet is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to levocetirizine or montelukast, and in children under six years of age.
