The cream is designed to provide rapid and sustained relief from symptoms including redness, itching, and skin thickening. Mometasone, the active ingredient, is a potent corticosteroid that works by inhibiting the production of various inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing the inflammatory response. The cream is applied topically to the affected area, usually 2-3 times daily, and should be used under the direction of a physician. Patients should be instructed to discontinue use and consult their physician if the condition worsens or if other signs of irritation occur.
