Mogit 1 Tablet is a prescription medication containing 1mg of cinitapride, a synthetic derivative of apomorphine. It is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), as well as dyspepsia, including symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation. Mogit 1 Tablet works by stimulating the vagus nerve, which in turn stimulates the lower esophageal sphincter to relax and the stomach to contract, thus reducing the frequency and intensity of episodes of GERD and dyspepsia. The tablet is available in a once-daily dosage form, allowing for easy administration and consistent symptom control. Mogit 1 Tablet has been shown to be effective in reducing the severity and frequency of GERD symptoms, including heartburn, regurgitation, and chest pain. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to cinitapride, as well as in those with severe hepatic impairment.
