The medication works by blocking the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in muscle contraction and relaxation, thereby reducing muscle stiffness and spasms. It is available in tablet form for oral administration and should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider. The most common side effects of Modin 5 Tablet include dry mouth, constipation, and blurred vision.
However, it is contraindicated in patients with a history of urinary retention, prostatic hypertrophy, or narrow-angle glaucoma, and caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular disease, elderly patients, and those with a history of peptic ulcer disease.
