Modcid LS 75mg/20mg Capsule SR is a modified-release formulation containing levosulpiride (75mg) and rabeprazole (20mg) in a single capsule. This product is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis in adult patients. The combination of levosulpiride and rabeprazole provides effective acid suppression and relief from symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation. Levosulpiride, a substituted benzamide, has potent antiemetic and antisecretory properties, while rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, selectively and irreversibly inhibits gastric acid production.
