Mitraa 100mg Capsule is a prescription-only medication containing itraconazole, a triazole antifungal agent, for the treatment of various fungal infections. This capsule is indicated for the management of onychomycosis, aspergillosis, blastomycosis, coccidiodomycosis, histoplasmosis, and paracoccidioidomycosis in immunocompetent patients. Mitraa 100mg Capsule is also used to treat fungal infections in patients with compromised immune systems, such as those with HIV/AIDS or undergoing organ transplantation. The recommended adult dose is one capsule every 12 hours, with a maximum daily dose of 200mg. The capsules should be taken with a full glass of water and may be taken with or without food. Mitraa 100mg Capsule is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to itraconazole or any of its excipients, as well as those with liver dysfunction. Common side effects include gastrointestinal disturbances, headache, and rash. Rare but severe side effects include allergic reactions, liver damage, and QT prolongation. As with all medications, patients should be monitored closely for signs of adverse reactions.
