Mindruff Scalp Solution is a topical preparation indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and dandruff. The solution contains a unique combination of coal tar (4.25% w/v) and salicylic acid (2% w/v) that works synergistically to reduce inflammation, slow down skin cell growth, and promote shedding of scales. The coal tar component helps to reduce the thickening of the skin, while the salicylic acid component helps to loosen and remove scales. The solution is applied directly to the affected area, usually once or twice daily, and should be left on for 15-30 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. The treatment should be continued for a minimum of 8 weeks, and may be repeated as necessary. Mindruff Scalp Solution is suitable for adult patients and is available in a 4 fl oz bottle.
